Bass Inferno subs

Does anyone have any info on Bass Inferno subs? My wife surprised me with a sub/amp for my dd. Bass Inferno BIW10D4 Sub in a ported box with a Rockford Fosgate Prime R500-1 Amp. Any info/reviews would be appreciated.

Nothing I'm familiar with. Find some specs, maybe a website for the brand? Would look into it for ya, but I don't know of them personally. The sound of the name makes me think flashy low budget junk, but that might not be the case. The amp is a solid little RF amp though, should work out nicely for a long time if taken care of. Sorry I can't help with any info on the sub though.

Just looked at their site real quick.. They don't list any T/S parameters, actual specs, just boast it having fancy speaker connectors, "high excursion" tinsel leads, and a rubber magnet boot.... That alone would bother me. Any reputable company will show off their specs, not hide behind flashy terms for useless little things. But not to discredit your wife for buying you a gift, hook that @!#$ up and see how YOU like the sound. It could be overpriced flea market trash... but if YOUR ears enjoy it, and you can appreciate her buying it for you, that's all it boils down to.

I looked at the same site that Dustin did. I also searched around. I couldnt find any manuals or anything more than what the site listed.

So, hooked them up last night. Doesn't sound too bad. The price was right (about $300 for the amp, sub and a cheap kenwood headunit.) so I can't complain. It's not anything I would invest into the cav, but for the dd it will work. And this is also my first experience with a ported box, so we'll see how this turns out. I will post pics up soon.

With lower end equipment, and who knows how good of a box, if it sounds crappy, please DO NOT blame it on the box being ported and claim to hate ported boxes from here on out/..... I can just see you being another one of those guys. Just warning you ahead of time that the box could be crappy, the equipment could be crappy, but the style of box over all is not

What the hell is that supposed to mean?! I'd like to think I'm a little more educated than that. No, i'm not that kinda guy. If I don't like the way it sounds, I'm just going to replace it all with Memphis when the wife isn't looking lol

Bah Memphis. Theres better for the money.

On the same token a good box and can make crappy subs sound decent.
