I think I blew the fuse or did something to the passenger side cigarette lighter plug. I have my power locks wired through it for a constant 12v source, and I grounded a fuse for the locks, and shorted something somewhere.
Ive narrowed it down to the cigarette lighter, because it has ceased to work with my phone charger, while the dasboard lighter still works.
Ive looked in the haynes manual, but cant find a wiring diagram for it. to figure the damn thing out.
any ideas on what I could do to get it working again? what could have blown between the cigarette lighter, and its power source?
The fuses that are on the wires for my power locks, have some of the metal "post" inside the fuse sticking out of the top, dunno why, They are the bigger fuses, not the tiny ones, and I tapped it against a piece of metal, I think the back of the port under the steering wheel. saw a spark, and then nothing worked. not even if I plug something into the cig lighter.
did something simular to mine may have to run another 12v power source to it
