As many have noticed I am instaling my remote starter on my 2005 Pontaic Sunfire.

The digrams I had gotten for my car say there is only one 12v constant located on the iggnition...how ever am seeing two red covered wires coming form the same spot are they both constant? in this car ..

with that being said my remote starter asks for two constant 12v

should i be connecting them both to the one...or would one be going to one red and the other to the other red...

also my by pass moduale is asking for one 12 v constantfused at 3 volt where should i be getting this from..the iggniton harness as well?.

Have you checked anything with a meter?

There is a black plug harness. It has red, red and brown and other tiny wires you wont use. The two reds are both 12v. You can realistically tie all of the 12v wires for your starter to one of those wires, but its up to you. They both do the exact same thing. The brown wire is 2nd accessory and you will have to hook it up or when you remote start your car you will get a passlock light and a maintenance light.

There is a white harness that has Pink, Orange, Yellow and more small wires again. Pink is ignition, Orange is 1st accessory and Yellow is Starter(Crank).
