Holy crap these cars rattle bad inside.....My '03 Cav. rattles like crazy inside ...the back deck and maybe the plastic too...Besides Dynamat what else can be done ?..... All I have in it is 2- 12" boston Acoustic G3 hooked to a Kenwood 1800 watt amp...I don't even have the amp up hardly because it rattles so bad that it sounds like i'm stressing the speakers but I'm not.....

Theres a vent behind the carpet in the trunk on the passenger side. That makes a lot of noise.

Big one. Also, i took off the rear deck in my old cav and put stick on Styrofoam under noisy connectors. My 03 is MUCH quieter than my 01 Z was.

pull all your plastic pieces and glue on any soft spongy material to the backside, i used the material they use for headliners. pretty much cut down all my plastic rattling.

buy a toyota, nissan or honda.

lol j/k, like Sundownfire said, the vent, and use insulated body fasteners and sound deadening material.

Forgot to mention the tension bars for the trunk that run across under the deck should be wrapped with rubber hose as they tend to vibrate together.

sweet deal...i did a test yesterday using what was advised so far....used paper towels to tuck behind a few plastic pieces and it knocked some noise down....I'm getting something to wrap up the tension rods and trying to figure out what to do with the vent thing...picking up some insulation stuff to do plastic pieces....think i need to do the deck lid too but really don't want to get into that yet...thanks for the advise so far guys..feel free to add more......
