Why would you replace the car over a part readily available at salvage yards????? It should be plug and play. I can't fathom why someone would get into your wheel well and steal your computer, but did they just unplug it and go, or did they cut the wires? if they cut the wires, you either have to find a u-pull-it yard and cut a pigtail with it, or buy a complete new harness, which isn't a fun piece to replace, but can be found and can be done.

wow what a mess. looks like a new harness just might be the easiest way to solve that... harness I believe should be found around $150, not sure on computer prices. But running a new engine harness is time consuming, and you definitely want someone who knows that car to do it. It can be done, I've seen it first hand. But to pay someone to do it, won't be real cheap, and to do it yourself will take some time. Especially if you aren't familiar with the harness routing and sensors etc.

Ouch... you are probably better off getting a new harness. If you do try to patch the back up make sure you do a proper job (solder, heatshrink) or you will be in for major headaches trying to diagnose an electrical issue down the road.

Seriously, who the hell steals cavalier parts?
