On my toyos, I followed the install faq when I put them in 3 cars ago...I've always had a problem with the driverside brake light socket burning up and then I only have the taillight on the driver side and no brake light. I've checked all the connections and see no problem but this is the 4th or 5th time its burned and melted the bulb into the socket...any ideas?
Are you running aftermarket bulbs?
If there is a lot of corrosion in the plug it could be heading up. That's about the only thing I can think of.
stock bulbs and no corrision..it is strange.
I have a toyota try putting a wire on the side of bulb to the ground that the problem with almost all toyotas there ground wires go bad and heat up the bulb and burns them out I did it to mind and the end of the problem
