DD (Dynamic Design) sub?
Monday, April 18, 2005 9:06 PM
Im wondering what kind of quality DD subs are. I recently picked up a pair of 8 inch DD subs in seperate bandpass boxes and Im wondering if they are pretty good and what not. I just installed them with my Sony 1200 watt amp and they hit alot harder than my 10 inch sonys ever did. Im just wondering about the quality and if anyone else has any experience with these subs. Thanks

yea thats what i ment. My bad. Its been a long day and what not. Like how "bad ass" are these subs? Im just trying to grab some info since ive never owned a pair or heard of them until recently when a new soldier came to my unit was from Oklahoma. He says they are some of the best. So far so good but im just wondering how they compare to other subs.

DD is VERY good stuff. The majority of Street class cars in Db Drag use them. Check them out. Digital Designs

Probably the 1008. As far as I know the only 8" sub they make is from the 1000 series. I could be wrong, but I'm about 95% sure.

I have the 1008 models. They are in seperate bandpass boxes. All i can say so far is wow. Im going to try and do some more fidling with my wiring for the amp and subs. Normally i can get subs to hit harder when i fiddle around with the wiring. The DD's hit far better than my sony P5 10's ever did with the same amp. Now i just need to get my front speakers hooked up to my 4ch amp and my stereo will be finished.
