ok
I finally ordered the 2.6" pulley. YAY!
now, my dad was looking at the stock pulley, and said we could prolly use a power steering pulley puller to pull it off. I remember someone saying it works, just want to clarify.
also, he said we could prolly use it to put the new one on, i dont think we can cause the new pulley has a hub and the stock one doesnt. can someone clarify this also?
Thanks....

If I remember correctly you can indeed pull the stock one off with a power steering puller but it will mess up the pulley. I would assume you can use the same method to install the new hub/pulley.
it can be done but it will destroy your pulley from what i heard... i used the pulley puller so im not sure but i was told it will..
and as for putting it on there is no other way but to heat the hub up... our shaft is not threaded like the GTP's and SVT cobras which lets them use the pull to put it on...

Here's what a power steering puller did to mine:
As you can see, the lip where you put the PS puller has been stretched out. If I were you, I'd just get huge honkin 3 jaw puller from AutoZone or Advance Auto. That's what I ended up doing after it was obvious that the PS puller was not going to do the job.

what do u need to install the new pulley
my stock pulley came off fine, heated it for about 30 seconds and used a 2 jaw puller
to install the pulley you would need
a torch (propane would work fine i think)
old pliers
2" m8 screw
some wet rags
insulated gloves
14.82 @ 97 mph
how much of a boost gain do u get going from the 2.8 to the 2.6.
well i got it in today....3 days and from all the way across the US.....sucks for them GP people lol.....j/k
so, the package says quikchange press fit hub, but you have to heat it up or can you use a pulley installer thingy??

didnt have to heat it up AT ALL......i dunno if you guys didnt have the right tools or not, but i didnt have to heat it up....
but I have another question....
I bought the 2.6" pulley, now that is suppossed to be 8psi right? why would I only be reading 6psi? and I got the smaller belt too, and it fit like a glove.....any ideas?

ps pulley puller......simple as that....I dont know what kind mr pute used, but the one I had worked PERFECT.....
talked my problem over with a couple people, and I seem to think I recieved the wrong pulley, but the package said 2.6", so I dunno.....it WONT go any higher than 6psi, even at redline......well maybe.5 psi higher, but thats it.....anyone have any ideas?
