well ive been searching and i dont see any 2.4's running 13's or better with boost were are yall at ? i see some running 15's with turbo and a pretty long list of mods. but thats what i run with just regular bolt ons..... im just debating if i should boost my 2.4l or not. is it worth it... i dont want to spend 5 grand to run 15's or 14's when i can buy a hooptie 5.0 ffor $1500 and run the same..!! iunno i just really like the cavy.. so anyone have thier time slips ?
jlenko ran a 13.8 with NOS on his 2.4 so its well worth it too boost a 2.4. why wouldn't it??

14.38 @ 95 is my best , and ive still got alot of room to drop the times down
drag radials or slicks , smaller pulley will put me there
and itll be even better once i can tune the pcm
the sticky at the top it will tell you the fastest. I am in the 13s . 13.7 and falling fast. Almost all that are boosted are at least a 13.9 or better for the 2.4 that is. 15s you say. lol thats what we run stock man. With good bolts ons a 2.4 can hit very low 15s. Witha turbo or nitrous they are well into the 12s

I ran a 14.2 @ 100 with an ecotec clutch on my LD9 (Thanks a lot RSM you moronic tools), exhuast leaks galore and misfiring 3rd and 4th gear.
My times will also be dropping fast this year. Real fast.

I used to be boosted..... and ran 13.6's on 6psi........ and a best of 12.8 on 15psi.....

ill be running probally mid 13's once my engine gets in my car, it just got back from the rebuild, gotta put the charger and header on on im done!
i ran a 13.88 with bolt ons and a 75 shot. putting a turbo in right now and pulling some weight hoping for mid to high 12s
13.1 with my turbo 2.4 @ 14 psi.
Im hoping to be in the high 13s with the GM charger w/ 2.6" pulley, reflash and full intake and exhuast mods and alky injection.. then maybe a 75 wet shot to get my into the 12s or better

The 13.56 wasn't with nitrous. I had nitrous on the car prior to supercharging it and haven't run the juice with the charger as of yet. This coming season I will be running the 2.5" pulley and a 55 shot along with an M4 alky injector. Not sure when i'm gonna get back to the track though as our nearest track is almost 2 hours away
I can most likely get some g-tech times though as soon as the weather comes around here in NY.

Jimmy Z is my Hero! I hope to get into the 13s, seeing is how I bought his 2.6 inch pulley and have alky, forged internals, p&P and all the bolt ons. Hopefully mith a good clutch bottom of the 13s.

You have given some validity to the M45 platform.
I ran a SLK 350 tonight and held it off from 5 to 108 w/ the 2.7in.
So maybe I will keep the charger, get a 2.5 in pulley and see what I end up with.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I can't use the nitrous on the car until i get myself a DIS 2 but that should be coming very shortly then we will see how things go. I'm doing a bit more wideband tuning with the car this spring as I am going to be putting a test pipe with cutout on the car and running some C2 race fuel at times. I'm gonna push the gm charger to the brink before I get rid of it next winter in leiu of a custom turbo kit and 20+psi. BTW Chris the pulley is on the way man, you should be seeing in the next day or so.

speedracerz, what parts did you have on ur 2.4 when you were boosted?
also what year and did you run that with the stock tranny.
im thinking about spraying or boosting so im trying to see what people are getting
