the downpipe thatcomesoff the turbo bolts directlyto the stock exhaust downpipe right?? is there a difference between years ? i can get a 95 downpipe to cat. is there a difference?
Yeah I think it was ment to directly bolt up to the stock exhaust, so if your exhaust isnt stock you've got a little welding to do...i should know...
j tuners toldme it is ment for the stock exhaust but i need to know if the years 95 through 2001 are all the same ( downpipe wise) for the 2200
i believe on the exhaust side of the equation, all j-body 2.2's are the same... PJ (DaFlyinSkwirl) used a 95-99 header on his 2002 OHV, so it should all work fine. I'm not sure if any peripherals like alternator or anything else might cause interference, but i doubt it.

I've heard that too. I'm using a header that was meant for a 95-97 2200, but various post have stated that the ports are off by just a little bit, but that the amount was so small (1/8" or less) that it didn't really matter. So as far as I'm concerned anything 95-01 is the same.
