What you suggest on a 2.4L turbo? 3" or 2.5" ?

Will it be too loud is I don't put any cat?

3" turbo-back piping.....high flow cat, long resonator, straight thru muffler = quiet, very free flowing exhaust producing very little or no lag (depending on your turbo)

Ok, just forgot to mention that this car will be my daily driver so I don't want it TOO LOUD!

I heard that turbos choke the exhaust sound but I am wondering if a 2.4L with a 3" exhaust will produce a monsterous sound...

So I was thinking 3" with cat or 2.5" without cat.

Will the high flow cat make a BIG difference in sound?

Thanks!

i just had a 2.5" turbo-back mandrel exhuast made... no cat, oem look-a-like magnaflow muffler...... crazy quiet! when i get on it, it gets a little bark to it but nothing in sound compared to my magnaflow 2.25" cat-back... 2.5" with no cat... do it

The turbo you use also plays a part in how loud your exhaust will be as well. The larger the turbine the louder the exhaust.
