if i have the pacesetter header (97 sunfiregt by the way) and i want to turbo, can't i just end up welding the T3 flange to the end of the collector with a little machine work?
would there even end up being enough room down their for a turbo on the end of this header?
this would prob only work for the 4-1 header if even that, but do you think that it'll even come close to working with a 4-2-1 header? that would put the turbo in the exhaust tunnel under the car. thats some long ass charge pipes....
i tried looking for this but it was kinda hard to search for, but i thought that i'd be a pretty good idea.
if you don't mind, can you explain why?
is it a fitment of the turbo thats an issue? cause im sure that you could get the flange somehow welded on there,
The turbo wouldn't clear, and even if you could get a steel flange welded to a cast iron manifold and get it to fit, the downpipe would be hell to route with the turbo hanging so low. You'd also have problems running the oil lines since it wouldn't gravity drain back down.
