hey guys, do you know of any type of metal that would soak up heat pretty well, and could be used as a heat shield?

any input would be great, thanks

you dont really want it to soak it up

more so reflect it , or block it from other areas

anything will work

i really want it to keep the heat off the inside hood of my car, i'm trying to save my paint from being ruined.

so any type of sheet metal or something like that would work then?
