OK, I know that Hahn RaceCraft is the best way to go as far as a turbo kit, but I just don't have 4 G's lying around to spend. Recently I've been looking at turbo kits available on Ebay, specifically
this one . Now, before you flame me and call me a noob (which I only truly am regarding boost) I know that it is a "universal" kit. I fully understand that I will have to buy the manifold, downpipe, oil lines and flanges, modify the IC piping, obtain a fuel system, as well as a few other minor things. This is no problem for me, as I have a few part sources lined up for me.
So my question is, if I purchase this basic kit, along with the other afformentioned items, would it be suitable for a daily driver running, say, 5-7PSI??? Is there any other route ( excluding the HRC stage 2 ) that would be suitable without breaking the bank.
Thanks for any and all info, and your advice is appreciated.

you'll need some things like you said, but it will work.... but while it's on I would suggest replacing the items from that kit piece by piece over time so you have quality parts. that can get you started.

That's exactly what I was thinking. As I said, I know it's not a complete kit, but it's a good chunk of it. I plan on doing the street setup (as said, 5-7 PSI max) and after that, upgrading to a Garrett T3/T4 and better fuel system. I hope to have the basic kit putting me about 13.8-14.0 on 7 PSI. What do you think??? I don't think the piping will need changed though. (how often does piping go bad??? lol)

No offense but with a turbo, your going to need to have EXTRA money. Turboing your car is not something you can cheap out on ...
Ide honestly suggest the Hahn kit because atleast there is an abundance of people here that know about that kit if something does go wrong , and you have a warrranty.
But its up to you , cheap now is expensive later.
turbo kit that cost 300$=junk

other then the fact that everything is a knock off part, and that the turbo likes to break in half because its two halves glued together instead of cast metal, and that every peice will break in under a year, maybe less depending on your driving, its a good start...
i personally would not risk my car, or want to go through all of the extra bs from replacing things and fixing things, but it will work
even getting the job done right take a lot of your time away, i cant imagine how much time and money that would suck out of your life
i'd go with the hahn kit, or gm charger if i were you... but i suppose that would be a good place to start, and then you could go replacing parts as you can afford it, imo
