a few fuel questions on the hahn stage II
Monday, September 18, 2006 2:39 PM
from what i understand the hahn stage II comes with an inline auxilary fuel pump, an fmu, and injectors. personally, i'm not much for cutting fuel lines and such so would a walbro intank pump be a better option? if so, where would i come across one? i did some googling and didn't come up with much of anything. i plan on running hp tuners as well so i should be able to eliminate the fmu. last question... injectors are for the 02 or the 03+ style fuel rail? i have both but i'm just curious which i'll actually be using.

i should probably also mention, i'm looking to go with the 20g and run low boost until i build the bottom end.

thanks guys.

hptuners = no FMU

intank pump = no inline needed

HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED

i used the injectors that came with the kit ofr the 03+ fuel rail and a intank pump, sold the FMU and used HPTuners

i know that if i did an intank pump, i wouldn't need an inline fuel pump. i was more asking if it would be the better option and who online sells walbro pumps for the j-body

you dont have to cut any fuel lines to put the inline pump in...

honestly the inline will flow enough fuel for your needs unless you plan on running 450+whp.

the injectors are RC and 320cc i believe. just have to use the rc clips that come with the kit.

good call on the 20g

iv got that stuff forsale if ya need it. lol
begi fmu and 320cc injectors from the kit. turbo xs dual stage controller

but if you have your heart set on an intank over inline and not using the fmu, ull need bigger injectors then 320. plus u might as well just get the stage 1 kit and a JRC intercooler and just make your own charge pipes. that will save ya on a about a grand

i'm not gonna use the fmu. if the inline doesn't require cutting fuel lines and is gonna flow adaquately, then i'll probably just go with that instead of the intank.

The inline just gets spliced in. You use fittings to adapt the factory lines to the lines they give you. No cutting required.

I hit you up on AIM but never got a reply. I'm online now so if there's ANYTHING you wanna know, just ask me. Hypsy13.
