Im about to purchase 00+ SC injectors fo my 99 LD9. Since my car has skinny injectors, I d like to know whether or not they fit. For example, are there any other mods that I have to do to make them work.
Thank You
As long as you already have the skinny injectors on your car......Then the s/c injectors will plug right in. No needed modifications.

Ok, now im hearing some 99 comes with skinny and some dont, how do I know whether mine are skinny for sure?
Look under your fuel rail and see if they are skinny or fat....

you will need resistors as i believe the 95-99 are low impedence

Not all 99s are low........I'm a 99 and had high imp. injectors.

Ok I own a grand am 2.4L 1996, and I compared it to the sunfire...the sunfire was very skinny relative to it. Now my question is, how do I know if its high impedence or low?
The skinny injectors are high impedance. The fat injectors are low impedance.

Thanks alot Bobby, I might need your help again..but I ended up buying them!
just swap-n-plug them in and go
to measure them to be sure...... unplug the injector and test the resistance between the two contacts. Use a ohm meter to measure them.

Mine were plug and play, i'll give you 2 words of advice though (not sure if you know or not) When you unbolt the fuel rail, all you have to do is pull on the rail and the injectors come with it, then you will see some little clips holding the injectors onto the rail, pry those and slip them off, but before putting the new injectors back in, lube the O-rings up with a little bit of oil, so the next time you change them they won't be stuck in the head, god luck on the swap!
