For some odd reason the directions i printed off of pace performance had the wiring backwards for the iat sensor. this caused the car to run in a fixed tune apparently, with the engine light on all the time. called gm tech line, and looked up the scematics to figure it out. also the disc that came with the kit was blank, (hopefully that info wasn't on there). any body else experience this?
my disk had all the info
in 3 different languages no less
can i buy the this disk from you
i can email the file for the instructions
but you gotta be able to accept a large file , gmail is slow at sending , and my yahoo and hotmail accounts wont send it
cool send it to hugomorales@bellsouth.net
Thanks alot
oops. apparently this officially makes me an idiot: i tried the disk in my DVD player, not the laptop. enough said i think.
The directions are correct on the gm disk for the damn IAT wiring too. kinda wierd though, whatever the fixed mode the program went into when the code was up (0112, IAT sensor low voltage), the IAT's were set at 138 degrees, and the timing wasn't being pulled as drastically. it ran consistently better then than it does now!
If my IAT's are above 145-150 the timing at cruise is 36-38 degrees advanced with a 14.7 AFR, but go to WOT timing goes to 10 or 12 degrees and the afr to high 10's. always less than six degrees of KR too.
what your computer dvd wont read regular disks ? that kinda crappy
atleast you were able to get the instructions to work and figured it out
