ECO REFLASH w/Turbo
Thursday, December 28, 2006 7:12 PM
I have searched but came up with so many different things... Can someone just quickly answer this for me?

Ok, i just recently got a reflashed ecu for the eco charger. But im gonna use it with my Turbo set up. The Question is what else do i need to use this, w/ Turbo? I know i need the new map sensor and connecter i belive...

If anyone could tell me what i need and part numbers that would be great.

I know

TMAP part # 9359409
Connecter part # ???

Everything else part # ????

Thank you

you need the 2.5 map sensor the 330# injectors or saab green top injectors a boost guage a/f wideband guage and i believe thats it you can get the 2.5 map sensor and 330# injectors from www.gmpartsdirect.com and there's also a sticky at the top of the page which would give you more information

but the only bad thing about the reflash is the fact it can't be tuned by ANYTHING and the basic gm reflash tops out at 14.7psi
i was thinking about doing the reflash myself to begin with and then getting a 2002 ecotec ecu and using hpt but think i just might go straight for a hpt tune

I had a thread by Snowman bookmarked, but for whatever reason it's not working now.

See if you can find him.

Make sure the ecu is for the right kind of transmission.

Thanks again paul...

Is it necessary to use the S/C injectors... As of right now i have eccels.

I got the part numbers from the post from snowman... Im just double checking because in that post it said something about needing the IAT also.

Im just trying to clerify. And Gmparts direct doesn't have the connector(s).

When you wire everything together the IATs will pull from the TMAP sensor. look in the GM sport Compact build guide it tells you the wiring there. Still looking for the numbers to give you as well.

map connector replacement: 12110293
iat connector replacement: 12052641
wire assembly - map sensor: 12590818

I went digging through my instructions; is that what you need?

i think that is it... i just hard wired in the tmap...the only thing you would really need to find is the 4 wire connector for the tmap.

from the stock map and iat there are 5 wires....2 of them are gorunds, connect the grounds together and wire in the other 3 along with the grounds to the 4 wire connector, i think it is the "wire assembly - map sensor: 12590818"
