Does this AFPR work with our cars?
Thursday, January 11, 2007 11:30 PM

Part Number: ACC-74565

I saw a few posts with LD9'S that had this afpr but im not sure if it fits with no modifications? I was going to drill out the stock FPR and rely on my Begi; but rather not. So does anyone know if this one fits with no modifications at all?

My brother bought it from summit, we tried to put it on his eco but it didnt work. Wandering if it would work on my car so I can get it off him.

Yes, it is a direct bolt on for the 2.4L. I actually had that same one for a while until it started to go whacky, and had to send it back to Summit.

Nope, the 74566 won't work...Bolt hole is on the opposite side of the LD9 fuel rail...you would have to fabricate a new mounting bracket for the FPR...sorry bro.

Did you use any kind of lubricant, such as petroleum jelly (vasaline), to ease the o-ring into your brother's Ecotec fuel rail? I did that for my LD9 and it hasn't leaked yet. Maybe you damaged or have a damaged o-ring. Make sure you bolt it up too, if you may have possibly forgotten before.
