Well for the past couple of days ive been sittin on the engine ready to come out (only the mounts holding it in) But i havnt had jackstands, because my @!#$ friend has been ditching me (he keeps sayin he'll call me when he's at his house to he can pick them up) So finally today i drive to his house, noones home...
Well i was sitting here at about 1:00 AM and finally said @!#$ it... That engines comin out TONIGHT.
So about an hour ago i finished pulling it, with the tranny attached.
Feels good to finally have it out, so tomorrow im gunna strip it down to the block and drop the block off on monday to be cleaned/ bored.
Oh, and whoever can point out the problem in this pic...

That is how it was when i pulled the valve cover off... thats also the cylinder that the ringlands gave out in... It should be interesting when i pull the head off tomorrow.
Will also be fun to crack open the transmission and see whats been making that rumble for the past 10,000 miles

Lost a roller there didnt ya! Keep us updated.
Darn them wondering rollers rockers. Looks like a chunk of ring land either bent a valve or stuck it open so that in the blank spot on the cam, it could slip away. Sucks..
Says in your profile that you are in Montgomery county. I am in PG county right at the Montgomery/Howard border. Either county is a mile's drive from me. Let me know if you need any help.
