ok here is the situation...a friend of mine has a hahn stage 2 turbo kit with 4000 miles and a few extra's..(3'' down pipe, turboxs BOV...and dident tell me much more...) and he is asking 2500 bucks for it...

is that a good price?...or should i try and talk him down more then that?

ehhh...kinda hard to say, I think its a great price for the kit, since hahn does great things..but none of us can tell you how much wear is on the turbo based on 4000 miles. Id say its pretty safe, but if thats 4000 miles of heatsoaked exhaust shell...well thats a different story. Did he ever up the boost at all? Like to the point where he could run the turbo out of efficiency?

It would be a good idea to see if your homeboy knows anymore about the kid he bought it from. But beyond that, Id say offer him 2k and see what he says.... regradless of the turbos quality your getting all the essentials of the kit and you cna always get a replacement turbo if this one goes tits up....

i'd say offer him 1800, considering the fact no one knows what the turbo has been through. And tell him to throw the downpipe out of the deal to save yourself a little $, unless your running a good amount of psi's. I thought that 2.5 inch was adequate(sp) for our cars. Someone correct me if im wrong.
