What would make my car sound like it has a huge exhaust leak. I check all of my exhaust and nothing the only thing I can figure is that my exhaust manifold gasket is done. Is it possible that all this noise could be coming from my turbo because it sounds, kind of like it. The turbo seems to be working just fine though I am really not sure, and help would be gratefully appreciated.

Ummm....an exhaust leak could amke it sound like you have a huge exhaust leak.

Check your flexpipe, if you have one, all your gaskets, and flanges. A turbo sounds nothing like an exhaust leak.

So what does a turbo going bad sound like, because I really have no idea. It is a ball bearing turbo if that matters at all. Also by huge exhaust leak I mean I know it is not a pin hole leak it sound like I am driving a V8. I am not sure where it comes from because I checked almost every possible place. I ordered a new manifold gasket so I hope it helps when it gets here.

Check the manifold to turbine inlet gasket. It is the most likely to go out and is very hard to determine.

check the 5 bolts that hold the wastegate housing to the turbine housing, and also check the 3 or 4 bolts that hold the pipe to that housing.. look for some black sute.

check you turbo shaft on the intake side for play, and post the results. (in and out, side to side)

look for oil in the intake pipe, and spin the turbo... look at the fins for any damage too.

Now on top of all the other problems I am having the car keeps stalling or almost stalling when I put the clutch in after it is warmed up.
