Where is everyone buying these from? I will be putting in a turbo and I think these are the plugs I want to run.
First person/company to speak up I'll buy them from.
Thanks

NGK TR6 all the way man...................if Gary Gardella and GM Racing trusts them enough to run them in the record holding cobalt i do to. its what i have always ran in my with as much as 20 psi and no probs man. i have had problems with all other plugs at high boost cause it blows the spark out under alot of boost. good luck...oh yeah, you can find them at any major auto parts supplier.
Btw, I have TR7's.. Trying these out with boost, then goin back down to the Tr-6's

What are you going to use for a gap?

I'm running TR7s as well gapped at .34.
I'm getting a rough idle out of them though so may try to gap them at .28? Doubt going two-steps colder would cause the rough idle though...maybe the gap?
Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?
run your plugs at .030 gap....thats what i have found best to run after alot of tuning time

Well somone in another post said he talked to a rep at NGK and stated to gap them at .035.. Ill try then, then gradually take it down some.

Best plugs out there are Denso Iridiums, hands down. But the TR6's are good cheapies while you're tuning (in case you foul them out.) It's always better to foul $6.00 worth of plugs rather than $60.00
what plugs are best for the 2200. 2 step colder
DRIVE HARD OR DONT DRIVE AT ALL!!!
I'm running the Denzo's. They're amazing plugs.
It's not necessarily what's best for the engine...it's what's best for the setup. Typically it's 1-step colder for every 50-hp gain you expect, but I've run 2-step colder pretty consistantly since a few years back when I added nitrous. This season I'm going to have to bump it up to 3 or so.

Might have been me saying that, I did talk to Chris at NGK Tech and yeah he did say .035. I bought both TR6 and TR7's but have only used the TR6's. So I am listening to everyone's experiences and comments. Let me know what you think of the TR7's.
Quick question, is it safe(efficient) to run the TR6IX plugs on my 100% stock cavalier or should i just go with the TR55IX (stock ones) and leave it be. I'm not looking for the performance gain yet, just wondering if the would make my engine loose performance being 100% stock?
i think it might mess with your mpg, maybe even performance...
if you are stock, just put stock ones in

I agree with Denso Iridiums being the best, I run them in my boosted 2.4 and have always been happy with them. They don't make them for the Eco though...otherwise I would've bought those instead of the TR7's I got.
