First let me say hello to everybody as I'm a new member of j-body.org. I'm in the middle of a turbo kit install and ran into 2 small problems. 1.the hard water line, I can't find out where they go. 2. the oil sending line that connects from the turbo to the oil sending unit by the intake manifold, where is stock oil sending unit located? Oh my car is a 2002 cavalier with the 2200 motor. If someone has pics of a jtuners kit installed that would help out alot. Thanks for the help.
theres an oil plug in the back of the block (firewall side) its actually a 1/4" square plug inline with your camshaft. Put your 1/4" drive extension in that plug and pull it out.
IIRC its a 1/4"NPT plug and will require an adapter. 1/4NPT MALE to a 1/8NPT FEMALE. Then I used an adapter fitting 1/8NPT male to a AN-4 Male fitting.
thats how I ran mine, but I dont have a jtuners setup.
I'm pretty sure thats how every 2.2 has ran theirs.
hope that helps.
That's the plug I used as well.

The oil plug to drain the oil, thats where I was going to place it. Just wanted to make sure guys. Thanks again and I would like to thank Leo for making such a great kit. If not for them two problems (and a 3 year old girl and a 4 year old boy getting into EVERYTHING lol) I will be done by now. When I get my Moto Q from Amp,d I will post up pics and vids. Also PJ and Jazer good luck with your projects

No not the drain plug. The plug on the back of the block by the intake manifold. I have the 2.2L OHV J Tuners kit along with their intercooler kit & it's awsome. The only thing is their intercooler kit had to be modified to fit my bumper since I think J Tuners only had a stock bumper when fabbing up the piping. I think you'll be happy with it when up & running.
YOU MADE THAT MUCH HP AND TQ ON 5PSI OF BOOST.AMAZING! You wouldn't happen to be able to show me some pics of your kit installed? You know when I first got my car, people would joke and say why are you wasting your money on a cavalier? Thanks to the people on this web site I know that the jbody has alot of power just waiting to be unlocked. With a low insurance cost too hehe.
I want one of the Jtuners manifolds...

You're not alone. I wish we could find out who has the jig and production rights now...

Whats bad is I sold my ebay log manifold in hopes of getting one of the manifolds from Jtuners. Then like a week or two later they shut down. Someone really needs to get those in production again!

X2 I want one bad but.........I think I'm going to have RD fabs make me a log for ease of simplicity......but if someone started making the j-tuners header mani again....I would wet my pants
Yep, its a shame they shut down shortly after getting some dyno results for their kit...it was very impressive IIRC. Something like 180whp from only 4.6 psi or something.

The dyno results were from my car.

Want to sell the kit?
The area under the curve on that dyno sheet is amazing, but is it starving at the upper end of the rev range? It really drops off at the top end. But like I said with an area under the curve like that and at such low boost, it doesn't really matter

No I don't want to sell the kit. Since that dyno sheet that was J Tuners, I have tuned my car with the A'Pexi AFC NEO & now running 5.5 PSI, my car has dyno'd at 206 WHP & 257WTQ
