What are you using for tuning?

water/meth injection will help
for your pistons keep the same compression, don't go lower since the supercharger can't give you enough power that you'd blow the engine.
piece yourself a good heat exchanger setup (search for this, lot of posts on it)
also as jedi said, you will need to tune the engine, and the reflash that comes with the doesn't support HPTuners, so you need a stock ECU and someone who can fake a 2.5 bar map sensor and who can tune it for you.
a 2.6 pulley is the lowest recommended for the m62 charger that comes with the kit.
With all that you should be pretty close to 300 whp.

My applogies if I offended your m62
fact is
m90 = guaranteed 300+ whp
m62 = do a great deal of work to
DanteMustDie wrote:be pretty close to 300 whp.
and that's not to say that the m90 doesn't require extensive work (because it does require fabrication of a custom manifold). I'm sure you can probably push 300 out of the m62, but you would also be pushing the charger to it's limits. An m90 would do 300+ easily.
I have a question for IKE though...Did you recently buy an eco powered cav or do an engine swap? Because you haven't updated your registry in a year, and neither of the cars listed have an Ecotec.

Ummm.
Cobalts have done tests on the m90, and its not much more HP. Its not worth the $$$ to HP ratio.
Now if we had the whipple that be a different story.

this has nothing to do with my setup. another dumb comment...
I love how you say an m90 is guaranteed to hit 300 whp...
like evans17 said, nothing really great came of trying an m90 on cobalts, what's making you think it'll be any better on a cav ? show us proof or don't say anything. also getting supporting mods for the m62 is much less work than building a m90 setup...
also, a m62 with all the supporting mods doing 300 whp is much better suited to the 2.2 ecotec than a m90, since the m90 needs much more power to turn than a m62.
not to mention the cost difference between getting a setup already made or building a custom setup to make the m90 work.
to the OP, I forgot to mention that you should get the 60 lbs injectors that the modded cobalts are getting... I don't remember what model exactly, but you will easily find that info on a cobalt ss or ion redline forum

My appologies then. The few Quad 4 guys seem to be having plenty success with them. I figured a motor with more aftermarket support could benefit even greater. Again, sorry for the ignorant comment. It was not my intention to spread false information.
