seriously Jamille I would read as much as you can about different turbos and BOV, internal and external wastegates....etc. there is alot that goes into it, not just slapping a turbo on and going.

do you know how you will tune, what hp goal you have, and what mods do you have on the car now? are the internals stock?

just tryin to help

Number 1 read up you don't just slap on a turbo and everything is fine and dandy. You need to maintain a turbo more often, change oil sooner watch underhood temp and IATs.

Ok now from the looks of your sig you have a ecotec. Sure you could go custom but manifolds for the ecotec aren't exactly widespread although hyspy told me the hahn mani is a T3 flange so that would your best fitting. But considering the way you asked your question go ahead and buy a hahn stage 2 set up and call it a day.

yeah i read up on turbos for 2 years now for the cavy and now im ready for one almost got a super charger but decided to go turbo. I have the 2.2 eco so im good for boost hahn turbo kits are usually good for stock engines and my engine is not completely stock things that are stock that may need changing in the future are the cams and headers maybe. and yes the mani in the kit is fine as far as tuning im trying to get someone to tune my cavy as soon as possible but not having any luck finding anyone with a hp tuner. thats another reason i wanted different gages because i was planning on raising the rpm limit a bit with the tunner among other things.

If you've been reading about turbos for 2 years, then you should be able to buy parts and piece yourself a turbo setup, which is cheaper, and can yield better results if done correctly. and by piecing yourself a turbo setup, you know what you got under the hood...

Hahn turbo kits are good for stock engines man you crack me up. Hahn kits are the best eco kits in general take a look at the hahn sunfire that thing is a beast.
1.) You can't use someone elses HP system you have to buy your own once HP is purchased and used it is basically encrypted to that ECM.

Im guessing you've never driven a swapped honda just buy a tach you won't any gauge with a raised RPM there is no point really.

I don't mean to bash in anyway but I still feel you need to do some research.

Actually, YOU are wrong. You can use ANYONE'S HPTuners software. Its not encrypted to the ECU. It simply uses credits for each car you burn a file to. All it will take is 2 credits, and he's good to go.

your COMPLETELY wrong about HPTuners, and the Hahn sunfire is not running an off the shelf kit

Now the hahn sunfire isn't running an off the shelf kit but it was at once based around that kit before they decided to go crazy and build a debored race engine.

Ok I had misread on HP tuners, I thought once you bought the license for that car you could only use it for the car, but I was wrong.

Hey Jamille, what exactly do you have as far as internals? What about the cylinder head? 9-12 PSI of boost is going to put a little strain on ANY engine! Well for 3500 you could have a custom built kit, and have more options as far as turbos go. BUy the Hahn manifold for $599 then go find an internally gated garret bb bearing turbo. thats what i would do.

thats about as much as the kit on hahn's site

He is just saying that you SHOULD be able to build your own set-up. If you can pick out and understand the parts that will meet your goals as well as not turn your internals into little shards of metal, you are ready for a turbo setup. If you can't do that yet, no big deal; just do some more reading. Hahn has a great reputation and has built a kit with a ton of potential, but that doesn't mean you can slap it on there and never give it a second thought.

I don't think anyone is talking down at you here, just trying to save your engine. Typically when guys come on here and say "I want to be faster than x-car and I want my BOV to be really loud", they don't have a clue what they are looking for. That might not be true in your case, but no one on here knows that.

If you know what you would include if you were building your own kit, you can ensure a pre-built kit will meet your needs and give you room to expand if you wish to go that route.

Good luck with your project whichever direction you head.
