when i had my S/C intalled i had to take off my AEM alternator pulley and UR crank pulley. If i was to add them back into my car would it overrev the S/C too much and blow it or would it be fine? because according to my boost gauge..4 psi? WTF?!
UNDERdrive pulley... clearly UNDER drives the supercharger as well, making LITTLE TO NO BOOST. That's the stupidest idea ever.

BTW 4 PSI is what you're supposed to get with it spinning at the stock revs.

Underdrive will spin the charger slower, creating less boost pressure. Now, and Overdrive crank pulley will spin everything faster, meaning higher boost readings. But you have to get that custom made.

i like how that guys is questioning my jet and header...what a tool. but my friend who is a mechanic said that on his VW the underdrive pullies increased his boost. oh and btw you cant run that JET with a S/C..all that JET really does is push even move fuel into the engine...the injectors that came with the kit already makes my car run super rich for some reason
and you know what else I love? when you ask a serious question and people make fun of you for it. grow the @!#$ up, obviously i dont know anything bout the S/C so how you going to sit there and bust like you guys know EVERYTHING.
You have absolutely NO clue about just about everything to do with boost, and you're calling ME the tool?
Your car has ONE header, not multiple. Header, not headers.
The JET thing I won't even get into.
The UNDERDRIVE pulley on your buddy's car is probably for the supercharger itself, which is very well known by those with a supercharger and a clue, will increase the boost created.
And the injectors aren't making you run rich, the programming is.
Now, can I laugh at your car, so you can try and bury mine?

i will answer your question.
yes, you can put the underdrive crank pulley and the overdrive alt pulley back on, but in order for you to not LOSE boost you need to purchase either a 2.7" or 2.6" supercharger pulley (stock is 2.8") to maintain your current boosting levels. im not really sure which one yull need to compensate for the underdrive crank pulley though. pulley boys make a nice quick change unit so you can see which one you prefer the most.
although, i wouldnt recommend running the aem alt pulley AND the underdrive crank pulley, ESPECIALLY with having to pull the blower to remove the alternator if anything should go wrong. with this combo many have had issues with charging, including me. take my word for it, using the AEM alternator pulley isnt worth the trouble. you dont gain jack with it anyways. just get in on md ld9's aluminum stock sized alternator pulley group buy ($55 shipped-WELL worth it) and be done with the alternator side of things.
btw, your signature is HUUUUUGE!

thanks, srry bout the mondo sig...lol. how much boost would a 2.7" pulley make anyways? how much boost can the 2.4 handle safely without @!#$ with internal stuff?
2.7" pulley
some people's experiences: 6-7
some other people's experience (incl. me): 4.5 LOL

Your best bet would be to leave your stock crank and alternator pulley on. If you want to up the boost use the 2.7 or 2.6 inch pulley. If you want to buy a smaller pulley read this thread.

I do not know why you are using a Jet power unit but there is no need for it. If you have the GM reflash for the supercharger then it will already run a litle on the rich side.
