So i bought a universal FPR not thinking about the attachment to the fuel rail. as i took the stock one off i noticed how the feed going in was connected by a round piece with an o-ring. i was wondering if anyone has tried to modify their fuel rail on their 2.2 motor to fit a universal. What i came up with was chopping of the tip that goes into the rail from the original FPR and welding a nipple that the fuel line could slide over onto it. however it took forever and i grinded down the excess welds to much so it had a small leak where the o-ring is. so the question is has anyone done this to theres or is there another way? Possibly threading the fuel rail to just screw on a nipple of some sort. not to sure, pics would be nice thanks.
nvm, problem solved, cut the fuel line going to rail kept the old FPR and Y'ed off the vacuum lines
