Just putting this out to see if anyone has tried this before.... or if i am the first to have something like this.. my car is a 98 Z24, i last year i had my engine completely redone with lower compression pistons, stronger bottom end. you know... all the goodies that you would want in there... sorry not getting too far into that cause its one of those lists i think i have in my ptrofile on here... anywho. here is how it all started out......
A few months ago a co worker of mine told me that on of his good friends had an eaton supercharger off of a 96 3.8 bonneville. and when i found out that he was willing to part with his charger for a whopping 50 bucks, how could i go wrong. so there i was, with this charger, oh and by the way, it has been checked out, and is in almost perfect condition.
I wanted to go with a turbo just because it is a little more hidden, and thats what im kinda wanting. so now with the chargerthat i have being almost as big as my frickin engine, i decided on mounting it under my 2.3 intake.. so i removed my air conditioning, which wasnt much use to me seing as i lost the charge when i got in a small accident last dec. but yeah so long story short, i am running an eaton M90... i do beleive... anyone can correct me if im wrong. which is almost completely invisible to anyone who isnt looking for it... you can only see a little bit of it between the intake and the rad. however the noise from the charger does kinda give out the secret, and i also have a blow off valve in the charge pipe too.. which doesnt help keep it too quiet either...
But for the main question that i am sure everyone is wondering... YES.... it is so Freakishly amazing.... there is TONS of power. TONS.... its is running somewhere around 15 psi.... I havent gotten it dyno's or anything, so any guesses on horsie ponnies would be good.. as long as there somewhat educated... well I am going to go take some pictures tonight of my crazy contraption... hope some people read this and let me know what they think..... I will have some pictures soon

k, sorry nobody is beleiving in this... but i will get picts tomorrow. its weird. i diddnt think it was such a big deal. like what with nobody taking me seriously. but for sure i will get them picts for all to see.... IM going to promise now.... it is far from a work of art. I just wanted to get it in there to see how it would work. i am going to be taking it out and getting it all looking more presentible this winter... so i hope nobody laughs at it.... such as the lack of front end, wires everywhere, and vacume hoses out the ying yang.... and hey if anyone from around this area wants to come take a look for them selfs. pm me and come take a gander at it if you want to... hell maybe if its a big deal. i could start whipping these things up as some sort of kit..... and make hundreds..... even thousands of dollars... lol but yeah... do not be hatin just yet.... some how i will come through for you and get them pictures.
