i was just lookin around for some parts online today and i stumbled across a few saab turbos,,,
can anyone tell how much boost i could expect from one of these?? i know theres more than one turbo used in the saab lineup,
but if someone could give me a quick rundown i would appreciate it
no help? one more question, we'll see if anyone answers... what cars were the 16g and 20g mitsu turbos on?
Brandoson ran a 13.8 in the 1/4 with 6 psi with the garrett. from the sabb 9-3 I'm not sure how much boost they can push. he ran at 15psi for a little bit. it is a small turbo. you will get less power from the mitsu turbo from the sabb. we put that one on his car for a bit.
What? The mitsu turbo is the higher pressure one, not the garrett. the mitsu came on the b207r high pressure model.
brandons run was the mitsubishi one.........i trade it to him.

Your right I'm sorry. I don't know how I did that. Brandoson is my brother. I had the garret one. we put it on his car to see how it ran once. I sold it. I really like the sabb setup. If for some reason the one I have now dosn't end up working out. I will be getting the sabb.
I am now the proud owner the the exact setup that was on Brandsons car.
I ran a 13.9 the first day at the track with horrible conditions.

how much would it cost to piece this all together, does anyone have a list of what is useable parts from the saab and what i would have to buy/fabricate? What car did you guys take your setup off of?
More importantly, where did you find all of this? I'm guessing scrounging local junkyards. eBay has nothing to offer. It would be mighty nice to have someone do an actual write up.
did u ask what cars 16g or 20gs came on well 16gs came on evos but 20gs r an upgrade turbo far as i kno
I have a saab 93 (2000) T25, according to garrett, it should handle around 250hp.

I ran the saab garret on mine and ran around 11psi intercooled you can expect to see full spool around 3k sometimes even less. It was perfect for what i wanted and the set up i ran, definetly not the one i would choose for high horsepower goals.

whats the maximum horsepower someone has achieved with this, im only lookin for 300, mild compared to some of the turbos on here

300 is pushing it...you may be able to get a bit around 250-270....thats why i went another way and sold mine..
