Adjusting Hahn Stg II wastegate for 9psi ?
Saturday, September 01, 2007 6:50 AM
I am currently running 7psi but want to up it to 9psi. I know I can adjust the rod for the waste-gate but don't know which way.

The only x-tra mod was switching out the '05 5spd pcm for an '03 5spd pcm. My Egt temp is 1350 when I cross the line and I'm running about 85-90psi of fuel pressure.

Any one have an idea of which way ?

do it each way and see what happens, ti can only go lower, which then you adjust the opposite way

No, you can adjust the flapper to some degree

There is not much play on that rod at all, you can get 9psi out of it barely. Any more than that and you need a boost controller. Just tighten it up as much as you can, what stops it is the closed off end where the pin connects.

You need to turn the actuator arm clockwise or tighten it to make the over all length of the actuator arm shorter, that will increase total PSI.

I'll give that a shot. I'm just looking to sqeeze a little more out of what set-up I have right now.
14.0 @ 100+mph is what I would like to accomplish.
