I haven't been that active in the past few weeks getting the race truck back together, going to school and working full time. I just wanted to see if there has been any updates on the status of this project. Last I heard they were making a jig to help with the reproduction, and I haven't heard back from them in the past 3 weeks since i sent my emails. I know they are busy with the intake gp but i'm one impatient ohv owner.
So far it's coming along really well. We've been "picking" at it here and there between jobs. The design is easy to reproduce, but the problem we've run into is that we're not sure what turbo most of you guys want to use. Most (turbos) will use the same flange, but we're concerned with height (hitting the hood) and just general fitment issues with the variety of different snails on the marketplace these days.
You're such a tool, Cody...lol
T3 and T3/T4 are probably going to be the most common since there everywhere and relatively cheap to pick up.
Good to hear. I'd say t3 flang....but I plan on using a t3 super 60 or a t3/t4
.
I'd say as long as it can accommodate at least a T3/T4 60 trim, I'd say thats about as big as anyone would really be going any time soon. I'd love to be more ambitious with that estimate, but that seems pretty realistic to me. What are you looking at for wastegate provisions?

Ohv...love...any........haha
I'll find out tomorrow... I've been at college since august and have been away from the shop. I'm out there all day tomorrow to find out where things are at. There are several J related things that are needing to be found out about... This is one.
Nice. I can't wait to see some pictures of this mani. Maybe you guys will turn out a better one than Jtuners.

I believe JTuners' was mild-steel, not stainless, so this will be better in that respect. I just hope the price isn't significanlty higher...
It looks like a T3 flange will be standard...would it be possible to get a T4 instead?

so how much will this header be?
Were trying to find a supplier for the Stainless flanges pre-cut at a reasonable cost. Currently from what were are finding people want 80-100 for a flange. Currently thats almost 3 times more what we are having them done right now for. If anyone knows someone with a CNC machine and can deal with stainless let us know. We have a jig all set up to make these consistently on a spare motor. We also have sourced out a company who produces collectors for us in 304 stainless as well to cut down on all the yap we had about the collectors before. Also we have designed them so the dipstick won't have to be modified and the primaries will run around it. Its not going to be a 100% exact replica damn near close with some better upgrades. I wasn't able to make it to the shop today because i sold my old motor and had to hang around home, but thats been our priority so far this week is finishing up this manifold. I'll see if I can get some pictures for you fellas this week sometime if i remember... lol.

That sounds good. Thanks for the update Cody. I can't wait to see some pics. Any ideas how much the manifold is going to run us?

Thats great news! Makes me very happy, I cant wait to see the finished product....and then you guys can take more of my money.
Without having to modify the dipstick I think your going to see a large amount of sales not to mention more turbo OHVs pop up. Not everyone has the guts to bend or cut up their dipstick.
