fueling 2200 turbo

Hey guys, I have a question.

The last car I turboed was a b18 swapped honda civic, I ran a small t3 with stock injectors and adjustable FPR. the car made 230whp fine. But now that I have started turboing my 96 ln2 I read about the sidefeed/topfeed injector situation. Will I be fine with just stock fuel injectors for 5psi if I use a FMU or AFPR and maybe a larger fuel pump?

The stock injectors wont really handle boost, i wouldnt think.

However, as far as injectors are concerned, its not PSI you should be concerned with, its horsepower. How big of an injector you need is based on how much power you want the motor to make.

Theres a bunch of calculators online, search on jbo and theres most likely a link to them, that will tell you how big of an injector to run.

what is the stock injector size? i know some sr20's came with sidefeed injectors has anyone used them or any other HKS side feed injector? or do most people convert to top feed injectors?

the main problem with the injectors is the impedence......(sp) its hard to find injectors that the computer will run that flow what you need.

the 2200 is a bit easer but the 2.2 (97 and older) is a bit of a pain ..... the easest solution (i said easest not the best for tuning ) is extra injectors and a injector controler

side fed from any other company (like nissan) will not fit.

The cheapest has been mentioned, the best is a standalone and top feed
