02 question

I have a 98 turbo 2200 and i am having an issue with my stock o2 , the car is in open loop at start up , my wideband reads 10.7 but i plugged the snap-on scanner into my car and the factory 02 was reading 13.7 . i was wondering if i could use the voltage wire on my wideband and just splice my factory 02 wire in to that. just wondering. i wasn't sure it uses the same voltage to a/f ratio its a aem uego.

I'm not sure if the aem has a narrow band output or not so someone else will have to confirm. But a wideband uses a 0-5 volt window while a stock sensor is 0-1, so make sure you have the correct output from the aem. Personally I use my wideband to tune and my stock sensor to run the car's computer. Chances are you may need a new stock sensor. But they are only about $20 or so its not gonna cost too much.

Don't get a/f readings from the stock O2 sensor. They are only accurate at stoich, otherwise they only gauge rich or lean in general.
