Im looking to get my gauges now and i cant decide on te boost gauge. Mechanical is way way cheaper then the electric and probably alot easier to plumb in....any plus or minus to either one? phil
electrical you dont have to worry about hose pinching for the most part, since only wires are entering the passenger comp.

I think electric is the way to go, but when it comes to boost guages I have had better luck with Mechanical ones. Don't touch Auto meter boost guages with a 10ft pole, I have sent mine back 2 times now, on my 3rd one and it still says Im in boost when I'm below 100kpa, on the 3rd guage / map sensor and still says Im at 15psi FTL, Ive checked all my grounds.

well im going with autometer lol...unless i can find a good looking gauge that preforms well and isnt going to brake the bank..
