Just wondering if there is any one who would be interested in this turbo manifold... I personally have used it for the last 3 years and not 1 problem, no leaks or cracks... i would honestly say it is the best/strongest log manifold for the 2.4L, next to a cast manifold which i am pretty sure there are none for the 2.4L
Specs are:
- 1/2" stainless steel laser cut head flange (this prevents any warping from the constant heating and cooling down of daily driving)
- 1/2" thick turbo flange Stainless steel
- All stainless steel tubing 1.65" ID
- With or with out the external waste gate
I can also have them made in mild steel rather then stainless steel to reduce the cost, but i personally suggest the stainless steel.. MUCH more durable and will last a lot longer, with the continuous heating and cooling down either with track days or daily driving...
They are fairly expensive but well worth it.. The all stainless steel manifold with an external waste gate is going to run about $1300cdn all in (working on getting it cheaper, and the more people i can get the cheaper i can get them) but as it stands right now thats what it is.. And i am also not making money on these, thats just the cost of parts and labor, I just know how hard it was for me to find a high quality turbo manifold... this way i can hopefully try and help some of you out.
I will try and track down a ECO manifold and offer them as well to you guys if the interest is there
As you can see in the pictures, they are very high quality smooth welds which makes it a lot easier to get the manifold bolts threw as well better flow.. I can also have them coated if you really would like or just leave it bare (i personally left mine bare)
Let me know if you have any other questions or want any more pictures
And i know a lot of you like the ram horn style manifold which i will be looking into this spring and try and offer it to you guys as well but honestly the difference the average person would see between the log and ram horn style is very small

thats like $1400 U.S
thats crazy. maybe that swhat it costs to make and im sure youre not trying to make money on them but thats just way too expensive. i would have to crack or rust out 6 cheap manifolds before it added up to the cost of that.
Wow solid looking manifold.

Plus time, labor and aggravation? There may be better cheaper alternatives, but if your going big, go big or go home.

Holy hell, we don't even charge 1/2 that for our SS manifolds custom ones at that.....
just trying to make a point.
JBP could prolly sell it since they sell everything at 3 times the price everyone else sells the same for.
i'll admit that it looks sweet and it im sure it would perform great too, but lets see if there becomes a list of people waiting to get one
It looks VERY nice, but a bit $
One of the nicest I have saw in a long time

just found this in another post. its expensive too but more realistic.

definatly an amazing piece, but why did the price go up? last i heard you needed $700 US for one....
Sexy Mani- But that Price Kills it!
lol dude that is crazy asking that much. I made the exact same thing for 150 usd man.
01 Z24 A4 Turbo/Intercooled/11psi Yes I am still alive and yes I still have the car lol...
wow, you can get a hahn racecraft manifold just like that for like $600usd
you get the price way down and i will be interested in one of these manifolds. they look utterly amazing and rigid and clean
Looks nice, but personally I don't agree with grinding down welds. It looks better but it compromises the strength, that being said I've still done it on a few of mine including my current one.
As far as the price goes it's just way too high. Even paying retail there is only about $225 worth of metal there. $200 for the welding, plus another $80 to have the flanges machined ...... brings that type of manifold in for about $500.
your'e out of your mind. and so are they
Blew it up, build numbers coming soon
You're insane if you think you're going to get $1300cdn for that....

Looks quality but cast manifolds don't even cost that much

Yes..that is a retarded price..even fr quality..
Turbo headers can be had for around the same price...... and i would much rather have a turbo header then a log manifold.
Although id rock that log manifold any day for a WAY cheaper price.
like i said im going to try and get the price way way down... i agree its a stupid expensive price i was just saying what it cost... So then if i can get it down around the $700-$800cdn price would there be any intrest?
Im working on trying to find a different place to get the flanges from because that is where most of the cost is coming from..
but now that i see the intrest is definatly there i will do my best and try and get these put togeather for alot less..

Well seeing as CDN is almost equal to the Us dollar, I still think $800 is too much for that manifold. Needs to be $500 or less. The Hahn manifold can be gotten for $700 and I would not buy it either. Just too much.

i definatly dont see me being able to do it for under $500... i honistly would if i could.. but you pay for what you get... i went the cheep manifold way when i first got the turbo, and it lasted 2 months... every single weld cracked and the head flange was very badly warped... and i dont know about you but i hate having to work on the exhaust manifolds on the 2.4L no room at all and its not fun at all

i laugh at a log costing this much, nothing against that manifold it looks great and all but as said before a turbo header could be had at that price, something like the BFH is around that cost correct?

I don't see any welds ground down, i think he is just really good with the TIG welder.
