*Feeler* GRIFFIN aluminum Intercoolers
Friday, January 04, 2008 2:23 PM
As the title says, this is a feeler. I have been selling Griffin Radiators on the org for awhile and have been thinking about getting into the intercoolers aswell. Dont have any exact spec at the moment, but I will have details by monday. So Im just looking to see if there will be any demand out there for this product. If you would be interested, just post and let us knows. Thanks.

Scott Bledsoe

I have a Griffen intercooler, these won't be cheap.

is there any benefit to these over say a ebay special?

like all other parts... yes

the flow rate, effieciency, pressure drop, internal baffles to route the air to use all of the intercooler, core size, etc..

Griffin does alot of custom stuff, a purpose built Griffin intercooler will be leaps and bounds better then an e-bay special... you get what you pay for.

Price in mind?

I'd consider it if I can get one custom-made. (my planned setup would require a gap in the intercooler for the pcv to stick through)

with the radiators going for around $400, i would assume the intercoolers would be around 300-350 range.

As much as I prefer new/quality, that will definitely blow my budget build.

Most of their intercoolers are in the $400-$500 range.

I'd be interested also, but I'd need to be able to get a custom size/thickness.

If I decide to ditch the Water to air intercooler on my TurboSport concept setup, I'll definetly take one of these.

I Don't mind if its expensive, you get what you pay for.

Well I love the rad I got from Griffin via your group purchase....it would have to mount where mine is currently mounted though...are there going to be different size options here? different inlet/outlet sizes & locations? or are these just going to be off the shelf? I would be interested on seeing some more details when you post them.
