how good is this snail and how much hp can it put out ? i found one for dirt cheap and plan to buy it just wondering if anyone has dealt with it or knows anything about it it's coming off a 3.1 v6 z24.
oh my...try giving people some specs on the turbo..seiously. More then likely it will be fine but it slightly undersized. BUt who knows t25 doesnt tell us much..
found out no thanx to the prick^ that it came as a O.E.M turbo on the sr20det motor and says it's perfect for engs with smaller displacements such as 1.6-2.5L it might be small but im not lookin to make it a street racer just sumthin to strap on the car and be able to ride around without having to worrie about detonation or having to blueprint the block to hold the psi. and have enuff balls when i need it
He was not being a prick. If you want us to help you then give us the info we need so we can give you an educated answer. Just so you know a smaller turbo will produce a hotter IAT thus you are actually more likely to have detonation at the same boost level as a larger turbo.

Car of Origin: Nissan S14 200SX pre-1996
Engine: SR20DET
Flange: Four-bolt, same as the T25 series.
Max. Power Rating: Approximately 170kW
Max. Boost: 1.2bar (17.4psi)
Cover Size: Exhaust 0.64 AR, compressor 0.60 AR
Comments: The ultimate OE bolt-up to the S13 series of cars, the best part is that it bolts straight on. A good little all-round mid-range turbocharger that has proven itself to be extremely reliable in service.
Cost: Expensive due to their fitment to an Australian-delivered car. Their price starts at $650 for a second-hand unit.
Rating: Three out of five
Car of Origin: Nissan S14 200SX post-1996, S15
Engine: SR20DET
Flange: Four-bolt, the same as the T25 series
Max. Power Rating: Approximately 170kW or slightly more
Max. Boost: 1.2bar (17.4psi)
Cover Size: Exhaust 0.64 AR, compressor 0.60 AR
Comments: While the housing are the same as the earlier S14 turbocharger, the latter item has sophisticated Garrett ball-bearing internals, which guarantee a faster ramp-up to boost than the previous model. This is the pick of the T28 series.
Cost: They're hard to find second hand due to the relative scarcity of the S14 black rocker cover engines. Normally, you are best off to buy these new from a turbo supplier.
Rating: Four out of five

well after doing some research turns out he led me on to think it was a T25 turns out after running the as u can say vin on it it's a T28 again thankx alot cody i had allready googled it and was just wondering if ne one had one on thier car. thats what i was looking for not ppl being retarded thanx to all that actually put thier 2 cents in on this. i wanted a turbo and i think i might pick this up it's a deal i can't pass up and for $125.00 i don't think ne one else would either not that i know it's a GT28 with seems to be one of the better turbos.
Do yourself a favor a check for shaft play on the turbo and verify none of the seals are leaking.
i plan to i know a kid who rebuilds turbos locally and im gonna take it over to him
i had a t25/t28 on mine it spooled fast as @#^% but on the highway it was allways in boost.....sucked, it was hard to keep a constant speed , go bigger id say, i was a jerk and didnt listen now i have a t3....
