I did search but i just want to make sure. The pump http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/ part number F20000169, install kit # 27. plus the acordion tube. Now I may or may not have fuel cut. should I cut the cup? 01 2200

Well all I did for my walbro was pop off the inner flapper in the cup, and remove the steel mesh screen, no fuel cut out even at 1/8 tank. I never let me gas go lower so I dont know if it would with a lower level. Hope this helps

that would require the fuel cup cutting, there is no venturi port to fill the cup in there.

did you already buy this pump?

might want to look into the racetronics pump for the 98+ls1's,

they seem to be the closest thing to plug & play available.

yep... here is the pic of mine... comes with all the tubes needed and a fitting to attach the hose that the stock pumps have that eliminates the fuel cut.. plus they are good to 750+whp
And you can order the hot wire kit and all the other wiring harness plus the pump for like $230.. and it took i think 3 days to get to my door step.

I have the same pump ready to install, we'll see how it works. I'm sick of the fuel cut from my previous walbro/modified fuel cup.

For those with the Walbro pump the cure to the fuel cut problem is to get the kit for the GrandPrix GTP that has a brass T fitting that inserts in the factory siphon line to keep the cup full. No fuel cut problems at all.

just to put a thorn in everyones ass, the T fitting and the MOD that I posted a how to on both work well but have starting issues. What happens is because there is no one-way valve to keep the fuel rail pressurized, the pressure drains through that venturi and sometimes causes hard starting issues. Just a thought, I bought a one-way check valve and installed it near the engine and that solved that issue.
