Hello all
About to get a M45 kit
I was wondering what experiences you guys have with the Cooling Mist Meth Kit? Im looking at just the basic one they sell?
Any feedback on them?
Also what mounting options have you guys used? I know of the Throttle Body spacer option. Also just mounting the nozzle in your Intake which isnt good for the TPS apparently
Anyone tap the blower after the TB ?
Any other options?
Thanks for any feedback
I haven't run one personally but I have seen many people post success with the TB spacer. Make sure you get a boost switch for it.
Where are you gonna mount the pump and tank? The trunk?

I love it, its the only mod I installed in between the 2007 and 2008 JCO Bashes and I went from a 14.98 to a 14.47.
I got the deluxe 150 psi + tank kit (http://www.coolingmist.com/detailmain.aspx?pid=01250TBF).
Easy install, I have the pump and tank in mounted in the trunk, the hoses run under the car to my engine bay, and into a tapped ebay TB spacer. I just buy methanol and distilled water and mix it 50/50 myself and put it in the tank, cheaper than the name brand boost juice stuff. I tinkered with the methanol allen key settings on the boost switch between every run at the track and when I ran my best time stopped playing with it. I believe it is a half turn for 1 psi so I have mine pretty much set to 1-2 psi.
If you need any more help add me on msn as I just installed this about a month ago.

Did you buy from them Chris?
Can i get everything from them?
I was looking at their site but not sure of what parts i need
eeh just spend the $200 on the deluxe kit, thats what i got mine for, works great. $200 isn't that much anyway and plus it comes with all you need.
the Nozzles are on page 2033 of McMaster, OR do a search for "nozzle"
Ill have to dig up were to get the pump latter, its bed time....

I am definately ordering this my next pay check after I get my suspension on...I could only get a 15.01 out of my car (with a bad 60ft)...even if I can knock 2 tenths off my 1/4 mile I'd be happy.
I'm gonna go with the cooling mist deluxe kit too..its pretty cheap and no messing around.
if you had the m62 i would say see what that nipple on the TB adapter plate is all about.. m45 maybe you could use a tb spacer and use that for the injection? i was looking for some the other night, found some for around 100.. too much for me so ill just be tapping the adapter plate right after the TB

What size nozzles you guys ordering?
Im guessing m4 and m5?
Thanks
I had one of their dual stage delux kits on my old SRT-4 running a 1.8 gph nozzle and a 3.2 gph nozzle. With simply turning the system on, the car gained 15 whp!! I never even got to tune the air/fuel mixture to really take advantage of the setup! I'm looking into putting a similar setup on Wagonstein!

You can take my rifle when you pry it from my cold dead hands.
M4 is the one for the Mp45 that i was using, worked great, M5 seemed to be a little much, but would be good if using just meth, i was using just water.
