Ok, so as some know, a lot probably dont... I got a turbo setup a few months back and im getting things ready for the install in a few weeks and I know that I dont have every part yet, so I really am hoping before I drive to Illinois to do the install, I make sure I have everything im gonna need to put this thing on.
The kit is going on 2001 Z24 Auto and im planning on only running 7-8 psi. Here are the parts that I have in my possesion.. The kit will be Tuned with HPT by Curtis and maybe Tom ( Skunk and WrenchMonkey )
rebuilt garrett t3 super .60 with internal wg, .60/.48
Cast Turbo Manifold with copper gasket
2.5" headerwrapped downpipe, bolts to stock catback location
2.5" aluminum charge piping kit, 3 ply blue couplers and t-bolt clamps
Johny race car 6" intercooler, also Skunks old FMIC which fits much better
310cc ld9 sc injectors
1g dsm bov on custom mounted 2.5" pipe
function 7 4an restricted oil feed fitting, 10an return fitting
12" 10an ss return line, 24" 4an ss feed line, 45* 10an fitting for oil pan
gtp 2 bar map sensor
port matched 2.3 ho intake manifold
2.3 56mm throttle body
battery relocation kit
misc gaskets and such
Only things I know that I will still need to make this kit functional are
this kit needs is the small flange to make a compressor outlet pipe, which im working on now..
Glowshift Gauges with 3 pillar pod.. I was thinking Boost, AF, and Oil Pressure
*it will be tuned with Innovate Wideband, just need to buy a new sensor
I know I could go with new fuel pump or bigger injectors, but with the modest setup im running I dont think ill be maxing out the fuel.
So I was planning on buying the guages, the Wideband sensor, and HPT credits and heading out there, but I just wanna make sure it looks like ive got everything I need.
Also, If you cant tell that ill be missing any type of piping or connectors or clamps, are those types of things availible at local auto stores? Id feel a lot better knowing that If I am short a connector or clamp or hose I can go to the Autozone in Illinois and pick it up lol.
I know reading through the sticky its recommended for an FMU and Boost Controllers and things like that, but I dont think that once its tuned and its 00+ that it will be really nessasary, im trying to get this on here for low boost and as cheap as possible, so if I can get by with the stuff Ive got id be thrilled but im curious as to what you guys see that might be a huge problem or that im forgeting something major. Thanks in advance and be gentle im fairly new and doing my research now, and have searched several parts list and it looks like im pretty good with what I have but dont wanna miss anything and be stuck in another state unprepared.

What do you plan on doing for the ECU? I see you have the 2-bar map sensor but the computer still needs to be able to know what to do with a signal showing boost... reflash or something in the plans?
Question about your gauges. You said AF gauge. Are you going to be connecting this to the wideband? Or just the primary O2 sensor? If you are going to hook it to the primary O2 sensor, then forget that guage and get a EGT gauge.
FU Tuning
you forgot one vital piece to the puzzle........the eco swap. lol kidding...but dont forget colder plugs
haha.. yeah, I have heard that, but I will settle for my LD9, and then the next couple LD9s after that too im sure LOL
I do have 2 step cold NGKs I used withmy old NX Stage 1 Kit

ImPhat, I think I may get bigger but for the amount of boost I was planning, would it really be needed at this point? If so what size would work and be cost effective?
I would use atleast 36#....... The 310's are just barely cutting it with the SC with stock pulley..

Think I should Track down a set of Green tops? It seems to be a popular choice for 2.4 Turbo guys, and I think its a direct fit.. what do ya think? Maybe I can sell the 310s for close to enough money to get the Green Tops

the green tops are direct fit other then wiring in the new clips but they are the same length and would meet your fuel needs
Thanks for the reply!
So I think ill order Green Tops, is that really the only thing im missing from a modest, working setup ?
