How many have ran the 2.5 pulley on the M45? What kind of IAT's are you seeing with it? Also what kind of IAT's are you guys seeing with the 2.6 and 2.7?

with meth injection, ported blower and ported head im seeing IAT's well under 100 degrees at WOT, at cruise its like 150ish ive been seing.

Now this is 100% untuned also, since i ported the blower and put the 2.5" on i haven't been correctly tuned.

SO you are seeing under 100 degree's at WOT, but 150 in cruising?

with the injection, shure, but with the 2.5, a tired blower, on a 90-95 deg. day up here, I was seeing 190+ under boost.

with the new blower, 2.6 charger, and the over drive crank pulley, with water injection, it would go from 120 to 75-70 in under 4 seconds.

Ok, thanks Today saw 199 on a 2.5 pulley. I was shocked it was soo high. Also did you have to ground the snout for the 2.5?

nope, no grinding ladies

Re: M45 and 2.5 pulley

um, yes you have to, to get the 2.5 on. 2.6 no, but 2.5 yes.

John, tell him, water injection, not only makes power, but makes it safe to drive it hard.

Yeah I did tell him that. Actually thinking a direct port set-up. He said he had to grind it to get it to fit, but I was not sure. What kind of KPA readings did you see with that pulley?

I am going to kill you if you do it. I can't wait to go to a 2.5 myself.

From my observations air temp has alot to do with ambient air temp. I don't know about with meth injection though. I'm looking forward to seeing how that evens out the temp.

there was NO GRINDING at all on my 2.5" installation. I have no idea why you guys keep saying there is. Hell, im still on the STOCK S/C belt also with no slipping.

I'm going based off of what the owner of the car told me. He is also using the stock Charger belt and seems to be no slippage either.

and your sure you got a 2.5?

Wade, i would never get the 2.5. 2.6 and OS crank pulley puts rotor speed the same as if you were using a 2.4 though.........

John, Direct port N20? or water, you want to spray the water before the rotors to cool everything down.

Do you really think the alky will be needed with running the nitrous?

I would expect the nitrous to cool the air charge down.

If thats toward me it wont be direct port. Alchy will be in a throttle body spacer and nitrous in the intake pipe.

there are two 2.5 designs floating around. On will not fit over the blower snout, and the other will fit with out modification. Do not remember whom sells the one that doesn't require any mod to the snout.
