well now that my car is boosted, i clearly need a tune. that can't happen till next week, but my question is if i baby it and just drive along and try to keep it at -10psi (or so) below 0 reallym, will this hurt my motor? there is a show 2 hours away from where i live and i wanna put my car in it but don't know if i should drive it there i have 0 money left for if it fu**s off. so what do ya's think? should i drive the car ne for that matter? what if my wastgate is held open, would this help? thx in advance.

im sure you know that you shouldnt drive it all, but...........if you leave the wastegate open you wont have to worry about going lean and blowing something up. with the 42# injectors though,, you will be running super rich. do you have an AFPR?

the injectors arnt in yet, and my wide band is not installed yet...

park that thing until you get someone to tune it.

As long as you do not build boost you will be fine. Out of boost it is just like a N/A car. I know having a boost J it is easy to drive normal and not build boost, but very tempting to want to get on it.

haha ya i know eh it gets goin up past -10 and you just want to floor it. soon and verry soon i should be able to. i ended up just taking my winter beater just to be on the safe side i'll put the j in next year. thx john, i figuared that would be the aweser but just wanted to dubble check.
