I have a 2bar map sensor i got with the Turbo kit and it doent fit in the plug in ( out of a GTP ) where the old went. So is there a way to splice this in and use it, or can one off a certain car from a Junkyard, or which one should I buy new from an Auto parts store, the car is ready for tuning this sat, and I just noticed it wont fit....HELP?! I heard I can use one out of any LS1, but hoping to save money and make this one work?
I did research and never seemed to have a clear answer of what to use in the other threads, its just going in with a S/C reflash on a 2001 Z24

That map isnt out of a gtp, but it is out of an l67 regal which is the same. From what I was told the L67 is supposed to plug right up, as well as the newer duramax map sensors and maybe a grand national. Either way you can use any map sensor, and splicing in shouldnt be a problem if it doesnt plug right up. Hope this help's ya man.
The older sensors were to wide to plug in. You need one from a newer vehicle. Not exactly sure what vehicles but if you go to autozone and have them cross the part number for the gmsc kit one for the 2.4 which is 9350899 they have a wells brand that is only about 40 bucks and plugs right in.
If you are still having trouble locating it I have the part number somewhere in my PM. Let me know and I will dig through them until I find it if need be.

well I cant splice it because there isnt a plug with wires on it. and those cars plugs are WAYY too big so I couldnt use any of the older cars.. hmm
I'm gonna pick up a Delco 213-1631 I think.. I read is a GM 2bar for the newer cars, and seems to be a pretty popular GM sensor for Camaro and Vette and people using HPT.

The m62kit for the eco uses a TMAP setup which is completly different from the 2.4's setup.

Wade, are referring to newer vehicles in general or series one and two L67's? The map I had was out of a series 1 L67 sc'd regal I believe
I have heard the newer turbo deisel engines and newer gtp's. When I say newer I do not know where the cutoff is of when they went from the fat sensor to the newer style. I don't know exactly what years or what vehicles. I wish I knew though.

Yea Im not sure on the cutoff for the different versions of L67, Im not a 90 degree v6 guy though either haha. I also heard the newer duramax map sensors plug right up. Idk, sorry I couldnt help you more jeff..I dont have the plug but I know alot of junkyards around me have plenty of sc'd L67 vehicles so their not hard to come across.

And mike.. none of the junkyards around here really have much of anything boosted or camaros or vettes.. mostly 80s cars and cavaliers, its not the best town ever, so ill have to make due with what I can buy new or peice together, but thanks, I know you are trying to help and you were on to the right idea, just be glad you have the SC so you dont have to go through 5 million issues accompanied with a Turbo Setup, ive spent 600 bucks for other things that you really dont think about when you peice it together. lol
