Still haven't run that ever elusive 10, but we spent today tuning the ever lovin' crap outta the car and came up with this number...

591 WHP as our new personal record!!

Then we tried some more tampering and came up with a new even better number...

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Hahn-RaceCraft-Sunfire_182220.htm

606 WHP @ 449 ft/lbs of torque. Now all we need to do is figure out how to spray it at the bottom of 2nd and 3rd for a little "boost builder" on that GT40R

Ok, so I wanted to have a little fun and show that first video first cause there's little surprise at the end of the run underneath the car. But, because I'm a dumba$$ sometimes, i made the hyperlink into an image link and because im not a premium member i cant edit that....so here's the real link for the first video

Wow that is crazy. Do you really think it will hold together long enough to make a few passes? I am not saying it won't but making that kind of power you have to be wondering yourself. I think the question would not be if it is going to break but what is going to break next.

Correct. The motor is built to handle 800 hp and 606 WHP is about 715 engine horse so there is room to spare. I assure you that we would never intentionally push the limits of a motor like that just to "boast" some big numbers. This car is not a dyno queen (haha i know it sure does seem like it without that 10 sec pass) but we intend to run it at the track with the dyno numbers we put down. We use the dyno pretty heavily as a testing and tuning piece because unlike most of our cars, the kind of information we need just cant be found on the street this time...its not on the dyno graph, but that pass ended at about 125 MPH... quite illegal on any US roads . Not to mention it would waste the tires when a turbo that big comes into power.
