Tial 50mm bov, what spring??

What size spring are you guys using in your tial bov's? I know your supposed to go off vacume, I have a boost/vac gauge but I just did some things and may have a slight vacume leak so not sure if its correct. Does the 9lb spring for an idle vacume range of 14-17 sound correct? I have a silver spring, which is there a way to tell if its the 11 or 12lb spring since they both look the same?

I have a blue and green spring in my 44mm which is around 16 psi. Im not sure which way to check which spring.. Maybe ATPturbo.com has some info on there for you.

Sorry Dave I mean the tial 50mm blow off valve lol, The springs are a bit different than for the wg. I have the small green spring(7 psi) in my tial 38mm wastegate, but need to know what spring people use for the bov which is based off idle vacume pressure.

Idle vacuum should always be around 13-17 in/Hg if you don't have big lopey cams. Don't really remember why but that's what every book I've ever had has said.

Ok I thought so, mines normally right around 15in/hg at operating temp. So I guess I should get the 9psi spring.
