i have a gt3271 turbo and a 95 2.2 motor and the wastegate is internal on the turbo , originally i wanted to go external and bought the external ebay log style mani so i have the 35 or 38mm external flange on the mani but on the 2nd hole for the wastegate under the flange for the gate is like super tight to the manifold and i don't think i can get a bolt under it if i go external, the internal gate hits the radiator and i will probley have the flap welded shut. just wanted to know from the guys running that manifold how you did it with a external gate.

you could thread the hole and use a short bolt.....thats about all I can think of. then you wouldnt have to worry about using a nut too.
