so my Supercharger has been on since 83k miles and now im at 101k...my belt is already showing signs of cracking? has anyone else experienced this problem?? also...i looked online for the part number (88960481) (the belt that comes with the kit) and its 125.00$ wtf? anyhelp comments would be appreciated. thanks.
Cross the Gaterback belt PN, they can be had for 35 or so from ricerzone. this is a 10 rib belt, you can
A, Cut it in half with a razor\shears.
Or
B, match it up to the closest 5 rib you find.

Yeah the belt isn't that expensive, like $50 tops.

The belt I posted for the 2.5 is nice because it fits snug, is readily available, and is a 5 rib. I hated having a cut up10 rib. It just seemed really half assed like a hack job to me. Also a thin strip of the edge came loose and beat up my otherwise perfect hood liner.

yeah i might just break down and buy the gm belt...i know...sounds stupid but for me, i am not comfortable cutting a belt to make it fit..thats just me though..but thanks for the help, ill def use this thread and the other one when i downsize pullys!
