pcv valve leak?
Monday, January 19, 2009 10:57 PM
I recently supercharged my ecotec. Where the valve cover breathes into the little pvc filter is leaking oil. The filter used to be dark blue and now is dark greenish. I'm wondering if I came across a bad filter or need to try a different method. When I first bought and put on the APC filter I put it on to far I think and started thinking. I thought by adjusting it to be on right would make it stop. Maybe I damaged the rubber part and its leaking?

Thanks in advance for your input/experiences!

its probably just a case of blow by. My turbo Buick would do that all boosted cars do that. The power adder is puttin air in and it slipping past the rings the goes in to the crank case a small amount comes out.

they are all universal, just find one that is the right size for the area you want to put it in.
