I need some help with this answer casue im almost there i have a 1997 2.4 that is being build right now .all that i need to put the head and all that back on. im waiting on my head studs now im getting eager wish they would come . now one of my friends that is going to school i think in indinapolis he asked his high performance teacher if my engine should be broke in with boost or no boost the guy said for the rings to seat for boost i should break it in with boos or if not that is the reason they blow later on .and i also had people tell me to break it in and run it then i can put the turbo on later. im just wondering what is the best option to to do. by the way the enternals are wiseco 20 over bore 9:1 pistons eagle h beam rods clevite bearings jbp oil pump and arp main studs just to give you and idea.i know alot of you all have done his way more than i have and i just ant an opinion from people that has dealed with this motor and doing around the same thing i am doing.Help me out if you can guys !

I boosted my brand new LD9. Never been off boost, ran great.
